Magnetic tape, magnetic adhesive tape, magnetic sheet & magnetic signs
We carry magnetic tape and sheet in different lengths, widths, sizes and colours.
You can also find magnetic frames and magnetic labels (C-profiles) as well as self-adhesive magnetic tape and sheet in our assortment.
That makes organizing and tidying up easy.
Just cut out the desired size/format, label or print on it and attach it to ferromagnetic surfaces.
This way you'll always know where to find what, e.g.
in a storage facility.
In addition, these products work well for presentations or invisible attachments.
- Cut & label it yourself
- Different sizes, widths & colours
- Universal attachment possibilities
Magnetic tapes and sheets: Flexible magnetic power for labelling and organising
There is more to magnetic tapes and sheets than meets the eye. They serve as decorative magnets, magnetic labels, magnetic signs and much more. We will show you the features of these products and how you can utilise them.
What surfaces do magnetic tapes and magnetic adhesive tapes adhere to?
Magnetic tapes can be attached to ferromagnetic surfaces. For optimal hold, the ferromagnetic material must be sufficiently thick. Magnetic adhesive tape is suitable for objects with smooth surfaces; cardboard, paper, acrylic glass and wood are particularly well-suited.For both types of tape, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust.
It must be possible to apply the tapes evenly to the mounting surface.
The adhesive, in particular, bonds best when it is in full contact with the surface.
As a general rule: The smoother the surface, the greater the adhesive strength.
Rough and uneven surfaces should therefore be avoided.

What material are magnetic tapes and magnetic sheets made of?
Many products in this category are made of powdered strontium ferrite embedded in a flexible plastic. To ensure good adhesive force when in direct contact with ferromagnetic surfaces, the magnetisation in magnetic tapes is arranged in a striped pattern (north and south poles alternate in rapid succession). Most of these magnetic tapes and magnetic sheets are anisotropic, which enhances their adhesive force. How strongly do magnetic tapes, sheets, and signs adhere?
The adhesive force for magnetic tapes and magnetic sheets is specified in g/cm². Consequently, the actual force varies depending on the length and size of the cut piece. The stated adhesive force was measured on a steel plate and applies under ideal conditions. You can learn how to calculate the adhesive force in our FAQ: How strong is the adhesive force of a magnetic tape and sheet?.How to use magnetic tapes and sheets
After cutting your magnetic tape or magnetic sheet to the desired shape with standard scissors, you can write on it with a pencil, ballpoint pen or waterproof felt-tip pen. Alternatively, you can also print on all of these products using screen or digital printing. When applying the tape or sheet, make sure the surface is flat and that the material makes full-surface contact.
Before use, we recommend reading our FAQ page on the application of magnetic tapes and magnetic sheets.
Application areas for magnetic tapes, sheets and labels
Magnetic tapes offer a wide range of uses. We have compiled a few application examples for you:- Flexible labelling of shelves, cupboards, drawers, etc. with magnetic tape & magnetic labels
- Coloured magnetic sheets for cutting out shapes for noticeboards, presentation boards, etc.
- Invisible mounting of photos using tear-off magnetic adhesive tape
- Joining two non-magnetic objects with magnetic adhesive tape
- Magnetic frames for presentation purposes, for protected display & for colour-coding documents
- Also suitable for outdoor use. Coloured tape or sheet will fade over time when exposed to direct sunlight, so you will need to replace it.
